I like this very much. Good imagination and composition. Nice placement of the gun within the frame. Nice use of light and shadow. The basic use of B&W is perfect for the feeling that, I believe, is intended. The smoke is well rendered and gives a sense of reality. Kudos.

I almost hate to love it, but I cannot let my fear of guns deny that this is a beautiful picture. The green sheen on the right, the yellow that runs through it, make a great color run. As to your question...somehow I wasn't able to stop at another smoke pic you put up, but that was more obvious. I think this is undeniably smoke! My husband, who grew up with guns, would love this on his wall where he works (former Army, now DOD). Hmmmm.

Did the gun really smoke like this? I like the way you took this so close up to the gun. I like the way you see the smoke coming off of the barrel like this. I like the way you have the black background. An excellent picture.

I don't know if it will pass for smoke art, but it sure passes as a great shot. I like your take on smoke art, it's great. I actually did some for the first time last week and loved it. Lots of fun to craft. I like your focus and colour here, plus of course your trademark simplicity of composition. Well done.
