Linda, this is a lovely drawing with beautiful soft gradations of tone. It is, indeed, how I would envision a dream...perhaps the woman of many dreams. The facial features are well defined while keeping the subtlety that enhances the sense of a different dimension. Pencil can be an elusive medium to work with. I can easily become muddy and smudged, both deficiencies that are not easily corrected. I have often looked at a pencil and wondered what it beholds. It contains worldly masterpieces in the hands of an accomplished artist. You have created a remarkable image. My only question is, What is the band of tones at the hips? They seem to defy the smoothness of the rest of your drawing and distract from the overall quality. In my humble opinion, the drawing would be more complete in harmony if the bands were to become less defined or blended to the shape of the hips. Overall, it is an excellent example of the most simple but, yet, difficult medium. Russ

The hues and line in this are amazing, it almost feels like a photograph. You do indeed capture the surreal aspect of this portrait, it is framed well at the same time with depth of field.

She's having nice dreams is the first impression I got on this.

The drawing is really good, the face is perfect, you can see that face "sinking" on the soft blancket.

The shadows, the detail of the her, lightening is great.
