A very dramatic blue creation. It reminds me of seed pod bursting open to let loose their future. Very cleverly done and of course, my favorite color was used.

lol...you're going to think I'm doing the "blue thing" on purpose. Fact is, it's also one of my favorite colors. I had this a yucky gold at first, and decided to change it real quick. I thank you for the excellent review, Bill.

Great variations in blue and the design is wonderful placed on an angle. Good depth and shadow areas. Pleasing to view. Ribbon like area creates good interest. Well done.

Wow Shawn - my eye was immediately drawn to this wonderful creation. I am not even sure I can put into words what it is that attracts the eye so much. Colors are wonderful and there is incredible depth to this. Play of light and dark space is superb and the entire composition draws in the eye and holds on tight. I love these creations of yours. Sue

This is fantastic. I especially like all the movement going on in the middle. Wonderful mixture of shapes; lines, half-moons, twists. Excellent mixture of the blues, whites and blacks here. What kind of comments do you get about signing with your name? Terrific all-around picture. WOW

Thank you, Jessla!! No one has ever said anything regarding my name. Just an old habit I picked up when I was doing traditional painting. Does FAR have a rule against it?
reply by Jessla on 15-Aug-2008
No, I haven't heard that it is wrong. Just wondering if you get comments about having your name on the picture. I know that many react against having frames; therefore, I wondered if they reacted to having names as well.

Beautiful shades of blue and a silk-like texture make this a very eyecatching design. I particularly like the swirls as they interact and merge into each other like never ending spirals of energy.

Another interesting one. Love the gold tones and the underlying pattern. Great work on the shading and shadows. Love the darkish look of this as well.

I'm going to have to apologize on this lil. I just this minute changed the color of this one to blue. If you want me to have Tom delete this review, I will.

no its all good, i like it both ways, would look cool if it started in one color then ended to another

I like the design of this.

The soft textures added are a nice touch.

The little twisted ribbons are cool, they kind of remind me of of what all the vains would look like in the body. Or maybe my mind is just wondering. :0)

It is reminds me paper craft work. Your use of vertical space is so stylish. I also like the shadowing effect; it is so gradual, which provides gentle effect. Everything seems to be so mellow here, especially curve appears so gentle.

this is a really amazing piece you have created here! I love the depth you have made with all the shadows, and how the image seems to pull itself out of the square and then turn into this complicate system of ribbons!

The colors are wonderful, and they are two colors you wouldn't usually use together, but they play off of each other very well.

The last thing I notice is the half moons all over the piece. They are very faint, but they add a great texture to the entire experience!

Outstanding work!
