This is a precious work. Your grandmother looks like a very kind soul and you are showing that to the world. What a gift to be able to use your talent in such a way. The light, shading and colors you've put together are lovely.

The color effect is so special, to the emotional level. The shading is quite magical; for an example, skin around next. She looks so expressive. This is wonderful painting.

This is a well done painting. A bit "outlined" but overall very nicely done. It captures a lot of personality and emotion, and the composition is very nice. Nice Job :)

She did have pretty hard life, went through the WW2, lost her husband to cancer and her son to drugs, but that last time I saw her and took the pictures she was more peaceful than I ever remember:)
