This is beautiful. I love the tones of grey that you used, and the splasy of red here and there really tie everything together. Well worth the "All Time Best".

really nice idea :) i like the simplictity of the colours and lines you used here, reminds me of autumn with the borwns and reds, and got a little lesson on blackbirds with your notes :)

A very nice look at this most common bird. The fact it was done digitally is taking it to new heights.. The design and coloring are terrific and the presentation is unique with the bird looking down in a vertical design.. As always it is a pleasure to view your work...Dennis

Another very beautiful painting. The glowing red of the blackbirds wings and the ladybug make the picture. It works outstanding with the otherwise limited colors. I also admire the use of light as if braking to some kind of mist or fog just to spotlight enhanced by the silhouetted grass in the foreground.

I really like the colors in this one. They all compliment each other well. Composition is well drawn and painted. Wonderful variations in light and dark areas. Ladybugs make a wonderful addition to the scene. Very earthy look.

another wonderful artistic approach to your technique here, great looking bird with excellent attention to detail, love the depth of field that becomes more apparent by the dark red and black grasses in the foreground and that misty glow all around, love the ladybirds blending in to the surroundings beautifully, that eye is absolutely on them, :)) excellent work here.
