This is a very expressive, detailed and colourful piece of work.

It has good initial impact and is intriguing as the more you look the more you see. Just the same as getting to know someone more intimately.

My only criticism is the sunset border which seems out of place to me with the rest. I would have preferred it to have somehow been incorporated into the main body of work.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review. You are right with the border. Do to some computer trouble and chased by the deadline I had to post an unfinished version. I have replaced it with the final picture. If you have time please have another look.

No, I don't think it is over done at all. the blacks are pretty dark, but they do serve to make your pretty colors stand out. I like that you have put the theater in as that must be a great place for your art to spring from! Love those purple flowers.

Very interesting Cleo. I really like the flow of this image. Your colors are bright and beautiful (just like you). Nice composition. Best of luck.

Thank you so much for the wishes and compliments. Do to some power breakdowns causing a lot of computer and Internet trouble I had to post an unfinished early version of the picture. I have it replaced with the final product now. May you have a second look if you have time and tell me what you think. It could be to much do to my overflowing imagination.

This is certainly a very expressive abstract piece of art. I'm looking closely to see all the images that were intertwined. Interesting, colorful and a fine job.

This happens to be my kind of eye-jarring stuff. This makes Guernica look like a still life. The people in it are probably more mystified than I am. But I keep looking, and that is what is important. My one question about the composition is the choice of border in the superimposed square; my tendency would have been to soften those edges and ease it into place, but that is a matter of taste. The pieces are so disparate that the eye has to leap over hudles to move through this... not complaining, just observing.

Thank you Joel. I don't think that I even near Guernica. I can't equal the meaning, quality and impact of Picasso's master piece. My picture has a much smaller meaning but thanks for the compliment. Do you mean the green painted in part with the superimposed part or the border, or the black inner frame? I'm not sure what you mean but English isn't my first language. I'm only common with that word if speaking of photography. Chased by the deadline and victim to some computer trouble I had posted an early working version at first. I have changed it to the final version now. May you have an second look if that Version answered your question. The people in the picture are all me, except the mail dancer of curse. The call of the contest was to find the inner self and what makes ourselves to artists.

That is a beautiful mixed media picture of how to define yourself. That is a real challange, and you have met it very well. I love the colors in your final picture. They are outstanding. Your technique is excellent.

What I like best about this oimage is that it shows that an artisit mind though quiet and surene on the outside, is actually full trottle and quite busy.

This simply works...the color, tones and sharpness, everything here is great!

Thank you very much. I absolutely agree with you, my inside is a full of trottle. My husband calls it overflowing imagination.

I would think many people would see many differing aspects of this piece, so I won't go there. However, technically it offers very good color value, great balance in cool and warm colors, good texture and shapes and is very much enhanced by the sunset background. Great work. Regards Rod.
