You've executed your concept for this photograph very well. Very skilled use of mixed media techniques. Interesting and dramatic results. Good luck in the contest.

Very nice job with a good representation for All Hallowtide. Love the images that you chose, with the initiation of flames. Best wishes in the contest!

This is an interesting MM work. I like the innocence on these young faces. Specially the guy on the right side in black dress. Well done. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much for your kind and complimentary review. Yes these kids are great and go full with the Halloween program.

I don't know how you achieved this. My humble skills extend basically to traditional watercolor. However, I find your composition intriguing. The faces give it character ,and personality, and the color combinations are well balanced ,with good color value. It has A warm and colorful presence about it. Very good work. Regards Rod.

Thank you very much Rod, I have merged several cuts of photos most shot on Halloween on a painted background. The pictures were separately treated with different filters and transparency, Then I painted some more on top of it. It's pretty much like the traditional mixed media but without the mess of paint, glue and else.

Thank you a lot for your great review. Halloween [La noche de las brujas] is a big event down here topped with the Day of the Dead on November 1st and 2.

I'm not certain about this compulation...but for some reason I am finding it really interesting. Almost looks like a little Michael Jackson in the one shot?! Very bold colors to illustrate your thoughts. Quite different! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you but I'm not sure what you mean. Help a German please! What is compulation? The only word I know what comes near is compulsive and that doesnt make sense to me.
That is not Michael Jackson nor are that my toughts in there. The boy is a boy from the nighborhood. The photos were taken on Halloween. If you ask what the vstory is on this: It's just kids playing. It's as fairytale, a fantasy according to the callings of the contest.

I know it's not Michael Jackson..it's a little kid dressed up that almost looks like how Michael Jackson did when he dressed up for the video "Thriller" He too was playing dress up... so I go that! Compulation...in a word made of more than one word...composition...manipulation...computer...I really understood the photo...hope this helped.

Thank you for the explanation. I misunderstand the Michael Jackson part, I never saw the video.

This is a really lovely MM collage idea. Your photograph selection, composition and viewing interest here, is good. The focusing in each individual shot is also very well considered. The colour and balance in each is also a delight. What more can I say? All the best in the competition. Robin

I like the concept. Collage is perfectly blending with the surrealistic background. I have to say the boy's photo is little unfocused. Rest is perfect.

Thank you for ypour generous review. Sorry but I disagree. The boys photo is not unfocused. I made him that way. I applied a filter on him and some glitter on teeth and eyes. He is a ghostly goblin the effect is intentional just as on the transparent fairies. This is a fairytale not something real.

This is a very interesting composition.

This photo has much impact because it's different and the approach to the story is subreal.

The elements of the scene complement each other creating unity.

Thanks for sharing

Thank you for your complimentary review. Sub real is exactly what I was trying for according to the contest calling.

An interesting collage of images. I like the distribution of light and shadows; it fits well. Children playing. And the moon; quite fascinating. Fantasy land. The various colors in the image are well coordinated.
