I love the way you mix your textures in this (I have seen you do this in plenty of other work too), the softness of the mist and some of the green foliage really works well with the more intricate detailed work on the trees. I also like the softness of the reflection in the water.

Looks like a wet foggy day. I can feel the rain like it is here now. You mostly didn't set out for it to be like this but that is how it comes across to me. A lovely soft foggy day background with a cold wet feeling to it. good composition and I certainly like the feeling it is putting forth. Sandy

It looks like a lush paradise deep in the woods. A good place to sit and just relax and enjoy nature. Take a photograph or two. Nice form on the two prominent trees. And I love the roots hanging down to the water with the bright purple flowers. A real eye catcher. Impact, creativity and presentation are very good. Thanks for sharing.

Whenever I hear someone say "hand mouse painted" it takes my breath away. I cannot imagine the hours of work that goes into something the lovely and full of such detail. This is excellent work, Just beautiful.

Love the trees that frame it. Color harmony is great. Love the path that leads you into the forest to who knows what, maybe a great adventure. Flowers along the side are really pretty. Great presentation. A pleasure to view. slblevins

Shawn, the shadows do wonders for this landscape painting. Nice. The scene is so well balanced and the colors heavenly and pleasing, I like the fine detail in the leaves and flowers. Wow, this is pretty!
