There is a lot of depth to this. The colors n the water are great, however not as menacing looking as the sky. Also looks like a shadow from the boat? Not sure if this makes sense to me from the standpoint of the weather? Love it though, it has a lot of movement! Good luck in the contest!

If i had a 6 I would give it to you. Love the dark storm clouds you painted and the striped sails of the smaller sail boat, the waves are shaded with whitecaps, greens, blues and grays. Nice picture. God bless,

Impact - stormy
Color - subtle but nice
Composition - might have placed the boat lower for more depth but nice where it is too.
Contrast - definitely
Creativity - nice contrast especially on the water to look like lifelike swells.
Good luck

very nice presentation of sailboat on a raging sea in pleasant greens and blues. the sky is very dark with nice clouds that bend nicely with the sea. the cool pastel palette is what makes this digital image interesting to view. very nice work

Super blend from the pallent to create the swell of the sea & those green tones of the sea.~
The blend for the sky works well the textures look stormy & grainy
Excellent details on the boat & small crew.~
Nice work.

I like very much the way the sea moves easily into the stormy sky and the cold colours of the choppy sea with its licks on the end of each way. The beautifully defined boat looks as if it is lit form behind to draw the eye. Very well done. Good Luck and Thank you

First I wish you well in the contest.

From the dark threatening clouds to the churning sea you have good entry.

My only wish would have been for more artist detail on your creation and it's development. I find that detail interesting and educational.
