a very intense, almost psychedelic and surreal work here. the colors are luminicent, bright, the imagery is dreamy and have attitude to them, its a deep scene with meaning. the little mushrooms are so cute, nice red colors on them. i hope you enlarge this to at least four foot tall. nice work!

This puts me in mind of Alice in Wonderland. Great use of color as it adds a fantasy quality to the image. I like the mushrooms and the detail captured throughout the frame.

I like your picture and I love your notes; it's so poetic and sad, probably that's why you painted it in black; it's a wonderful tree, nostalgic and dreamy; nice colors , light and atmosphere.

I love the colours used in this very bright and they go beautifully together. I love the willow tree in the corner. It stands out against the repetitive colours of the background. I like how the tree is a dark red and not completely black. Beautiful!! Lucy (:

I couldn't agree with you more on the willow trees, they are amongst my favorites as well, alas they don't survive up here where I live now- but when I was a kid we had a huge one my sister and I used to play under in our back yard -it was like a big tent!

Your willow does stand out well in the left of this piece in a crowd of repetitive colours and textures in it's environment. I like how you have set it out in black making it's unique foliage stand out from the rest of the piece. It has impact in a silhouette form showing that it isn't always a bad thing in life to be different. I think that this piece flows well and has good visual harmony which is easy to digest for the quality you have produced through technique in your art aswell as a strong story telling factor. Thanks for sharing this! Crystal

This is very beautiful, and has much feeling to it.I thing your application of the different lines in black combined with the colors highlight the weeping willow adding to the feeling. The weeping willow shows well here in its stance.Your title, and art ring true.Enjoyed.
