Very nice creation. I like how the insects are almost hidden in the picture and after reading the story it adds a special touch of interest, the sound created by the insects. Nice colour combinations and a wow factor in initial impact. Good luck with the competition.

This is an absolutely beautiful piece of artwork. Love the gorgeous shading that almost makes the flowers look metallic and then the contrasting pinpoint sharp yellow/black centers. Am still looking and finding the little insects hidden all over. Very creative storytelling. Nice color saturation and overall piece is really outstanding.

this is a very vibrant type of composition and the flowers stand out well! Not sure if this is a photo or not. It looks like a digital artwork. I do not recognize the category. In any case you have definately achieved what you wanted to with the presentation of this.

This is really pretty. Has a wonderful luminosity to it as though the flowers are creating their very own light. The little insects are great and fun to find. Beautiul colors.

This is a very pretty picture, and also an interesting entry into the contest. I love the color blending in the flower especially, with the sharp contrast of the solidity in the center of the flowers. I also like the way you've used lighting and shadow on the leaves of the flower, and the color variations on the spike leaves. The background colors themselves are very nice, and their abstract nature makes the impression of the insects. It's also a perfect touch that you've added the dragonfly.
Beautiful work and great contest entry. I wish you good luck, and I'm sure you will do very well.

love the colors and how they jump out but not over done. Lighting is beautiful as well as subject and composition.

The finer details like the cricket in front of the flower, as well as the butterfly and dragonfly makes it inviting to explore the image, keeping the viewer interested and engaged with your work. The composition is good, the flowers are well framed by the grasses and supporting plant stems and the background recedes enough to let the foreground stand out.
