It has an interesting 3D look to it do to the special layer technique you obviously use. Very smart construction. Must be a really good view from that ski lodge.
It seems very technical. The glass segments of the building as the stylized sun are giving a feel of coldness even with the of the golden outlines.

This is a refreshing digital painting to look at on hot (90) and humid day like this ! I feel cooler just staring at it. The picture shows your fine, detailed work. It definitely sets a mood. with ts icy looking lines and shapes.

Thank you so much, Lora! Wow, 90 degrees. Sun is out here, but a cool breeze is blowing. A beautiful day. Again, thank you for the excellent review. I really appreciate it. :) Shawn

Really unique technique and so sharp and detailed. Love the subtle great tones that blend well together and the texture you were able to obtain. Think you obtained your goal because it looks very icy. Love the contrasting gold tones of the posts and the level of depth you were able to achieve. Only thing would change is the sun because it kinda looks a little pasted on whilte the rest of the piece is very technically intricate. Great storytelling.

Very cool..it has a futuristic look to it, and you certainly achieved the cold feel. I really like the composition..it is an optical illusion..up..or down..depends on the perspective! Donkeyoatey

Clever title, love the info on what you aspired to achieve, It does appear cold, fits the title well. Brilliantly done, to create each piece separately, It kinds of reminds me of the superman movie , when he found out about his true parentage. good use of the light, the shadows add depth , the 3-d effect is impressive and appealing visually. Ive given this 5 1/2 stars because I like the unusual creativity of what you have produced here. I take it that this is an 'ice-world', i like the sun, its quite alternative to the norm. Technically the icy reflective surface has been achieved because it does give that impression. It looks a bit like Krypton from the superman films.

Very different and interesting to view. I love how you did the panes of ice. The clear ones outside the lodge area gives it that sense of cold that is needed. Like the roof also and the snow accumulation outside the front area. Well done. Good impact.

This creation Shawn is absolutely
outstanding and I have been sitting here trying to figure how you did this.
I have no idea but it is one of a kind
digitally created architectural dream!
I am just amazed at the structure of this, what I call phenomena! You should be an architect.Beautiful gold, silver and white snow covered panels.I love the Mezzoforce Ice.I think this is the best abstract that you have done.
YOU ROCK!!

Very interesting construction and design; I like very much the reflections of the shapes around the image and the frost above, with the clever cold light.
Very original!
(I use sometimes PSP 8, but I didn't find such mezzoforce tool - has the PSP 9 much more instruments compared to version 8? Is it worth to upgrade? - Thank you)
