I like the program you used for this digital picture.
I am not sure if I would go with this green man. When I was 8 I was very shy and hung on to my mother's side at all times when she was near. Of course children are different today so they may. He doesn't look to scary he looks more like maybe could not believe what he says.
I like how you did the bug in the tree branch and the little dots of red for flowers. It goes nice in the picture.
This could very well be a children's story. I work at a library in the children's department and it could be a good story.
Not sure if it could capture adults attention. The story line would have be a very good one.

Thank you very much for your kind and encouraging review. It is indeed a children story but the story is not finished jet. Just for you as an librarian a little more of it: The Green man will turn out to be trustworthy but nor my hero's or the readers no it at this point. Truth there are some little hints hidden in the story as in the pictures. If you look the forest creatures aren't affraid even trust trust him as indicated by the caterpillar and the ladybug. I admit the ladybug [look at the red spot on the heat] is hard to see on the screen. in the story a hummingbird is circling over head.

The initial impact on this artwork is very nice. The color harmony is very nice with all the greens. The center of interest is the creature. The creativity of presentation is very good as is the story telling. I enjoyed reviewing your work and thank you for sharing
