Thank you, and no manipulations, exposure, contast, adjustments needed. Also the only object in there is a childs maagic wand toy, the rest is light energy. I am fascinated by the reaction between each color wave length vs. red laser beam!

Incredible. If I had more stars available, I'd give you more. I have been wanting to experiment with photography in the dark, but haven't yet. This amazing. I thought it was goingm to be digtal art. I am truly impressed. I applaud your imaginaton, creativity, and experimentation until you achieved this. Awesome!!! What kind of camera did you use, and settings?

Wow, that was my kind of review! Thank you so much, I am usually skeptical whenever I submit something new,but your review helps alot, not to mention my confidence level! I am kind of obsessed with this kind of photography, you never know what your going to end up with! I especially am trying to figure out the relation between a red lazer beam, versus the other color wavelengths, that bend, and lazer cannot. My camera is Sony Alpha 390, and I use all kinds of settings for each shot and then I have a choice!

I loved my Sony Alpha. It was just stolen in October. I enoyed all the different things I could do with it. God I hate thieves. I just ot a Canon T1i EOS. 15 mgp. No time to even fool with it yet.

So sorry to hear about your loss, I just got scammed on the internet. I hate thieves too. Your camera has a lot more bells and whistles, I'm sure you will enjoy it as much!

That's neat.
It's too bad they don't have a video category.
I'll bet as the laser moved over the toy the light really danced and changed.
Very different.

Thanks for the review, and yes, the lazer reacts differently when combined with other colors of different wavelenths and strengths. Especially, since a lazer beams straight, other colour lights all bend.

Thanks Paul, I really appreciate you noticing how effective light color and reflections can be! Thank you for the review.

Interesting subtle colors mixing together for this shot. It is a little blurry but I believe that is the nature of the item you used for the image. The black background works well with it also

Thank you for taking the time to review this one, unfortunately, I dodn't have too much control over any of the lights interaccting! I simply shoot it and thats what I get. You just never know what will turn out!

Thanks so much, you just gave me my ultimate favourite compliment: "technical excellence"! To me,the technical aspects of a photograph are just as important as the creative side.

Interestingly I kind of like distortion of colored lights, as I myself love doing the same kind of thing with my camera. I have done shots looking down a main street at night and a lit up big wheel at a fun fair at night and using a low shutter speed to allow loads of light in distorts really well and I just love it, though not to everybody's taste. This is to my taste and it's come up really well with some good colors and the image stands out really well against a black background. Well done!

Thank you! You understand, how vital colors, lights, reflections are! I am simply obsessed with it. Especially want to figure out the relations between all the different color wavelengths, versus a straight lazer beam. Thank you for your review.
