This is a beautiful shot with a nice story. I do love uncovering these kinds of unexpected delights in my garden.
Your composition is excellent. The flowers and new green stems and leafs are nicely framed by the brown, dead leaves. This is a great contrast, both in the color and with the story of renewal.
Technically this is perfect and I do believe that your vignette and framing boosted this very well shot image.
