when I was living in Beijing nightly the fireflies would come out and make little lamps for all of us - ah those summer nights in China- out half the night watching the beautiful sky, someone thought I was homesick, mad men, I was in wonderment at the beautiful crepy skies there-

Absolutely magical. Your daughter is a lucky young lady. This would look great on anyone's office wall! Excellent job rendering those fireflies. The waterfall is quite striking. I love the colors chosen for this image. Great composition:)

Very creative, but I think your true talent lies in your cartoon pieces. I understand you are trying to represent fireflies fleeting moment of light and what is illuminated in that moment, but I wouldn't have guessed that if the title of the piece had been different.

Very nice creation for this contest - many sparkles in nature that are always there we just do not see them - very nice composition with this clear and pure waterfall running over the rocks into a deep pond bordered by nice green plants - you bright the environment to life with your light beings - a very beautiful design - all the best for the contest

lol..thats ok not many people have fireflies in thier area nor have they seen them swarm in spring time.but u obviously havent really look at my portfolio to know these sharpies can and have done works and btw im not a cartoonist...im illustrator..big difference.when people see marker work they assume that cause of the medium it must be a cartoon..wink..thanks for the review!
