Love the look in his face! This is an awesome capture with great sharp focus and reflections! The lighting is awesome and the colors are natural and stunning making this curious pup stand out so nicely!! Perfect framing! Best of luck in the contest!! Too cute!

Well timed, the expression tells the whole story. Good colours and detail in its coat including the sand. One thing in your notes you mention an Aperture 2875. Something I have not heard of.Mitch.

Thank you very much. My camera has features were I can use manual and automatic settings at the same time. It means in this case it did adjust the aperture automatically for fast changing light condition wile I was changing colors, shutter speed u.a. settings. What I used is not really a setting for outside shots but proved evident for the fluorescent light and back flashing sand on our beaches. It is a setting usually used for harsh floodlight conditions when photographing shows, theater, sport events etc. etc.

I like this shot. very clear, lots of detail and colour and good dof. I would never be able to get my dogs to stand still long enough inteh water to take a shot like this!

Thank you very much. Usually he dosn't stand still either. I was lucky. He got baffled by something, maybe the reflection or maybe some fish in the water.

i can see the thinking behind the title and the photo,but as you can hardly see the reflection,not sure it works for the contest,still its still a nice photo of the dog

Thank you for your kind review. I have some trouble understanding your critique. I tought the reflections are quite obvious. There are the sunlight reflection on the waves starting in the left lower corner, taking about 1/4 of the whole picture. Than there is the reflection of the whole of the dog underneath the dog slightly angled to the left in about the half of the crackled sunlight reflection but exciting into the cloud shadow ad the had. There is also some reflection of light on top of the waves right, mostly in the middle. Can't you see any of this?

this only came up small on my screen,although can see the sun reflections,could only see a small part of the dog,hope that explains
