Nice capture of a difficult subject to get a closup of. You did a good job of stopping motion, your focus is good as is the perspective. i like the black background too, it allows you to focus on the subject more. Nice job, thanks for sharing!

This is really nice with the dark back ground,it maks the bird stand out. I love how the tail is fanned out, you just don't notice that when the are is full speed. Nice capture!

Nice capture Willie. Great definition, drawing in the focus to the bird's eye. Excellent contrast against the black background. I'm sure that this must have taken a great deal of patience. The image justifies the effort!

I also have feeders and watch the birds all the time. but have not shot one good yet.

Great job!! You are always so blessed to catch these little fellows. Mine will fly right by me and sometimes stop and look at me....but those are the times I don't have my camera. Love your bird work.

Against the perfect black background we have this wonderfully shot bird in flight which looks stunning and love the blur of the wings to show the movement. Great colors and focus with stunning detail of the body and feet. Great framing to this very well presented image. Very well done to a great effort. Paul - digitalscud.

Amazing shot! Got all the bird in which I never seem to do that often!! Very well exposed and focused. Would it have been possible to get the top wing sharper(this is only a minor quibble). This photo has been a joy to review.

Thank you so very much for a good review and high score! I have shot some others with a much faster shutter speed 1500/sec and completly stoped the wings, but without the flash. It was not as sharp and there was too much grain.

Im a sucker for a good nature shot especially close-ups. I like the absence of a background it helps you focus on the subject mater.
