this is a superb capture, amalgamating two photos, that shows one complete rainbow. the tropical trees offer the viewer a more exotic view and some exquisite light play in the actual leaves and branches. the image and the way it's presented, reminds me of one those old epic movies shot in cinema scope. as beautiful and lavish as the emerald forest and even a harp back to more primeval times.

Very cool shot of the rainbow and tropical vegetation. I especially like the boost of contrast in the trees. Very nice job of merging two photos also. Thanks for showing.

What a wonderful image and the palm tree seems to just glow under the rainbow! Nice capture of the whole rainbow with outstanding natural looking colors and perfect almost panoramic framing!! Best of luck in the contest Cleo!!

Thank you very much. This is a merge of two photos. Even my wide angle wasn't wide enough to get that huge rainbow in at once.

Thank you very much. It was just a little storm over in about 5 minutes without lighting and thunder. It drenched me but that was it. It was already leaving when I took the photo.
