This is a lovely shot of a swallowtail. The focus is sharp. the composition is good. The colors are a pleasing earth tone. Nice angles with the butterfly and flowers.

This is exquisite.Well placed in the frame.You have retained the delicate colour in the flower as well as the detail in its wings. The highlight in its tail needs some attention otherwise its perfect. Mitch

Beautiful photo, one could never tell it's your first:) You did a great job with this photo, focus is excellent, details great and colors most beautiful. Vignette adds the impact although seems that it wasn't necessary since the background is perfectly blurred. But I'm sure it looks better this way. Thanks so much for sharing this beauty.

This is awesome the way you caught him with his wings open like this. I like the way you composed this shot. The butterfly is beautiful. Lighting, focus and overall impact are all excellent. I like the way you used the dark vignette to really bring out the rest of the picture.

This is a Zebra swallowtail! I have taken several of this one. You have done well with this one. They are all hard to walk up on. You did well with this one! There is a Tiger swallowtail on my portfolio if you want to see the difference.
