This is fascinating the way you have done it. The way you have put this one together is just great. I like all the different masks in this. The way the boy's face shows up is stunning. An excellent and unique picture. Good luck in the contest. Great write up too.

I truly love this this - so artistic, so graphic. This work is so magnetic it is hard to turn away from it. It is beautifully done. Who is the masked man behind this? Is it Donkeyotey? The name did not show up but I remember the hint.

Thank you very much for your great and encouraging review and the surprise of six stars. No, it is not Donkeyoatey behind the mask, there must be some coincidence.

Thank you, I truly appreciate you toughtfull review and the high rating very much, but I have to admit that the picture is still a work in process. As I wrote in my comments: I am not done with the theme;. but it is the best I came up with so far. I simply run out of time.

Odd..I have to admit the idea has stuck in MY head too..I have plans for another piece as well! Aren't we silly! Donkeyoatey

Comment from The Condition Black
I am having a real difficult time with this piece. It appears jumbled, a little ray and somewhat unfinished. The flow between the various images doesn't work. They appear not to be cohesive additions to a single work but as singular image variants combined on a single canvas (although I must admit that typically when I say something like that it is because they are all focused completely different... at least they all seem to be about the same in your work). No real contrast of elements, the use of the boy seems to be a bit of a weak attempt at the "good" portion of the prompt. The cutting out of the eyes for the masks looks like simple editing.
These are some harsh comments towards your work, and I would like to point out that it does look like you put a lot of work into this piece and you have a skilled bit of experience using the programs that you have. The editing itself is quite good (minus just a couple infraction; the cutting out of the eyes, the hazy outline of the silver mask and the decision to use what appears to be the same image several times over). I really do like the work you put into this and it shows that you have a talent; I just don't think it was expressed well for this piece. Not for this contest, at least.
I look forward to seeing more of your work, and promise that for all the harsh criticism you got for this I will be sure to follow with the most positive review that I can give in your next work. Thank you!

Thank you very much for your toughtfull thought and helpful review. You aren't harsh; you are right. As I wrote in my review, the piece isn't finished at all. Maybe I did not make this clear enough. I started over time after time and just run out of time. I would have preferred to paint the masks into, but that needs time. [What nobody knows 2D digital painting is more time consuming than traditional painting]. The background is wrong now with the many changes I made. It is not a over and over used image but one single cropped down image of endless mirror reflection. It dosn't worke anymore, because there is to much on top. I have to admit that I changed the picture over last night again, Softened the outlines of the of the silver and changed from another white to the orange mask. One should not do it after passed midnight after about 14 hours of work. I will in time post an more finished and tought through work. The theme got to me. I usually have something to post when I sign up for a contest. I did not this time. I did it for a friend who dosn't even know; just to help to fill his contest. I know I had not enough time.
Please forgive the lengthily answer but I like to be honest when I get an honest review.
I do not want that you follow with a most positive review. I just want the real thing, with every little mistake in it. I always got from you, so far. I wished we would get more reviews like yours. Thanks again!!!

That is so awesome, you are totally on track. No worries, your work is fine. Love the lengthy return, and I look forward to your next submission!

This darn thing deserves six stars, but I just don't have any available. Truly appropriate for Halloween. You have done yourself proud with this one. Congratulations.
