The colors the look and feel everything about this picture mkes me feel good. the lighting is beautiful. The blackened tip of the beak however could have been slightly more brightened. Allround amazing picture and I cant wait to review more

The very fine details in the head feathers in this photo are superbly revealing in your image. The bold color of the bird is well done in the sunlight. It looks to be a low sun which has its own unique glow. It's just a wonderful nature shot, expertly captured and fined tuned for display.

I know the cardinals here are skitterish as heck, Is this cropped from larger print? Either way love the sharpness. the final image here is well frame, and depth of field is great, losing all background and centering on the bird.

Beautifully done Willie.
This very tight shot really gives a bird's eye view of this beautiful bird. I love the detail seen here in his head, almost fur like hater than feathers. His eye is sharply focused with the tiny highlight on the edge of his pupil setting it off nicely.
We even see good detail in his beak, which looks a bit worn, like it has already had a summer or two of work.
Beautifully done.

Great close up of cardinal. The red/orange is very intense and the detail in the feathers is terrific. In terms of improvement, I would increase the aperature to 24-32 to improve dof. The darkening of the face to the back creates the sense of 2 dimensions and I think it would be more 3 dimensional with a deeper dof.
