This is a very neat piece,I love the horses galloping through the waves,with the mane and tail flowing in the wind.The horse stands out nicely against the water.This is very nice ,I really like it!

I am hardly one to give any feedback on your technique as I am not a traditional artist.
But,the legs seem to be a bit off when I look at them.The right front leg is what I am talking about.I do like the water,you did a great job with that.
For a first digital painting,I give you props for having the guts to do it!!

thats why I had to take a break and played with my robot piece LOL My sketch looked right but when it came to painting no matter how hard I tired to get the right angle it was off. other than scaping the whole piece and starting over again i decided to jut give it up and post it. I'm still tryning to fix that leg though any idea?

lol maybe he ran too far and forgot to eat LOL I knew the legs were off, thats why I did my robot piece I got so frustrated trying to fix that that i needed to take a break and have some fun. The sketch looked right but when it came to painitng it I just couldn't seem to get it right doesn't mean I've given up mind you LOL

I would make the effort to study the anotomy of the horse first there are a few errors in the neck near the jawline but other than that you did a commendable job capturing a really good likeness
The foaming water on the shore is really good

thank you so much blackjaxe. this was my first attempt of painting an animal and attemtping to make it look realistic and when I was done i knew i was way off. after I was finished with this peice I pulled up a picture of the muscluar antaomy of a running horse, so i'm in the process of atempting this again, a differnt angle of course. thank you for the reivew and compliment
