You can never tire of seeing a Heron. They are beautiful graceful birds. I love the background in your shot Willie, it's subtle and sets off his coloring beautifully.

No, I don't think I will ever get tired of seeing the birds you serve up! I rarely see herons in my part of the UK and when I do they are usually a long way off and no way would a car ever get near them!! Nice composition here and the pose is good too. Focus and exposure are very good, love the look of the water. Very enjoyable photo to view and review! Well done.

No, I don't think I will ever get tired of seeing the birds you serve up! I rarely see herons in my part of the UK and when I do they are usually a long way off and no way would a car ever get near them!! Nice composition here and the pose is good too. Focus and exposure are very good, love the look of the water. Very enjoyable photo to view and review! Well done.

Beautiful picture of this big blue Heron in all his beauty in standing on something and great position like know that you photo him.Lovely bird with beautiful blue feathers on the body and a little bit on his beak.His had is so lovely with this white and black on her and a little black on his wings.Wonderful picture with nice brown background which making a very nice contrast with a bird and nice composition in all picture.Thanks for sharing this great picture with us and best regards,

Beautiful silvery blues and copper golds make for a lovely balanced colour composition and beautifully poised line of design where the heron divides the viewing plane.
