Princess Bella is delightful as is the tale of Dragonia. Ten points for story telling! Yay! The colors here are brilliant and harmonious. Choosing the bright green for Belle was a good choice so that she stands out from the rest of the vibrant background. I do see the depth you spoke of. I think that Bella herself could use a bit more definition but then, who am I? I've never been to Dragonia. Good luck in the contest.

Thank you very much for your throughout review. You are right. Bella could use some more definition. I worked long time on her but I am not really through with it. Well, dragons are not what I usually paint. I was careful with her because that is just the first picture and Bella is a toddler in it. Actually the post is a bit prematurely. I was careful with Bella and her definition, because she will grow up through the story and I do not know jet how she will look growing up. I have many scratches and options but didn't make a decision jet.

Since you used one of your own photos, I think it goes under Photography, mixed media. This looks a bit rough around the dragon's wings... and there is a silver outline on one wing but not the other. Good storytelling in our notes.

Thank you very much for your inside review and your input. Mixed Media indeed, that is what I tought and placed it in photo for.
Well dragons are not what I usually paint, so I stayed with what I know and mixed the species. [Lizard, butterfly, bird mix]. The post is a bit prematurely since I an not entirely done with her and have not finished the story. The silver line is on the underside of the wing. It shows not up on the upper side. We do not see it on the other wing because there we see the upper side wit a different pattern; just as on some butterflies. This feature will be important later on in the story when Bella practises some mimicry, just like butterflies do. The white foggy stuff is supposed to be fairy dust. Thanks for making me aware that this girl indeed needs some more definition.
