Great close-up shot of this Cardinal. Wonderful focus! I can look straight into the eye of the bird. The detail of the Cardinal is very well exposed. I really like how you have captured him with the seed in his mouth. Your photograph has great impact. The color just jumps from the page. Grand shot! Best of luck with the contest.

Wow! beautiful bird. I lived in wisconsin for 4 years and I always enjoyed watching the vivid contrast of the red cardinals and the fresh white snow. You captured a great moment in time! Thanks for sharing such a good pic.

This is creatively colorfully excellent; keep feeding the birds. The background colors also complement the red which gives it all a Christmas mood, as far as colors go. The framing is nice too with good lighting.

Beautiful stuff! The focus is perfect on the eye and the DoF was controlled incredibly well so that the rest of the bird is just about as sharp! Excellent, this generates the maximum amount of impact in my opinion. The color red is bright, natural, and vibrant, but not oversaturated to the point where I can't make out feather details. Love how blurred the background is, with excellent color contrast present. Inclusion of the seed is a nice story-telling component! Great work, thanks for sharing, best of luck!
