Oh I don't know, it is better than a good ninety percent of the 'art' one sees on this site and it sums up my day perfectly. Personally I would have not left so much of the paper blank at the bottom of the picture, but what do I know?
What I do know from the little traditional art I've been trying lately is that art takes far too long for an impatient soul like me!

ha ha, was having one of them were you? Every day this week has been like this, what with the weather and dam trains. I have pretty much wanted to scream all week lol I deliberately cropped the pic this way, was trying to be all arty farty with the white space on the right. Thanks so much for the review

Great use of color, movement, and overall composition. With the amount of negative space in the bottom right though I would have preferred to see a little more detail to the face. Overall I love the attitude, emotion, composer and use of color

Thank you so much for the review, I was trying to be all arty fart with the negative space on the left and deliberately cropped the painting to have that much white showing. I have weird taste lol This only took an hour, it was more me venting my frustration out than thinking details. This is the last of my experimental pieces for a while so some better stuff will come soon :)

don't explain so much, art is not in need of explanation, and when you do that it seems some what ...in need of... I understood your emotions, expressions and feelings, no need to explain why you did certain things, art is supposed to be explained by the observer,

That is quite interesting, especially coming from you. You have some hidden talents girl. Throwing paints on paper and come out with that is quite something. I wished I could be that spontaneous and still get a message over. The message is truly in. I do not need to read your comments our even know who the artist is to understand. The piece works as spontaneous as it was painted. I literally heat the painful cry of frustration from the artists soul. I think that is exact what it is the colorful soul of an artist.

Plenty of action in this one. I like the throw on effect of ink? for the hair. A roller coaster rider? Great effect. Sandy

Almost as good as 'The Scream' by E. Munsch. Very effective image with a lot of impact. The composition is great, the colors good, the initial impact high. An overall good image with a lot of story telling and communication.

Thank you so much, I did think of the Scream after I painted it, this can be my version. I wonder what he was feeling at the time to create it

Can't answer that one but then what were you feeling? Perhaps it was after attempting to resolve a problem with the telephone company. :)

lol nah I feel like this quite a lot with my artwork, I feel like some caged bird a lot of the time. I absolutely love doing it but get so frustrated not having the time to do things properly. I used to love painting a piece for hours on end but cant do that anymore, I have to stop and start which results in me knocking quick paintings out. Im just a little frustrated lol Wonder if Mr Munsch felt the same, in fact Im going to google it lol

Well, as of Friday, I am not fully retired and hopefully will now have the time to do those things I have always wanted to do but did not have the time to do.

actually I like this a lot
no question about communicating here
like the wide-eyes, open mouth and splats of paint
I feel like this sometimes..
good composition..like how the paint spreads out
good face in white...expressive to have it white and the colors on hair and body
