This is an amazing shot! Lucky you. Wonderful rich and unusual colors for water. Lovely composition and awesome focus. The title really fits the image with the fantastic sheen on the crappie to make it such a prominent element here. Focus excellent. Great detail in the log and its reflection. Overall a super job!

I think this is a lovely and very lucky shot of a bird with a fish in its beak. You captured it well. It is clear and crisp, has an interesting story behind it and I love the pink water reflections.

I am learning a lot about these blue herons, and they are definitely an interesting bird. How fantastic that you captured him actually catching a fish!
Good clarity and unusual colors in the water, which compliment the heron nicely. The log is a great accent point and adds to the good composition of this shot.
