Wonderful close up of bambi. The clarity is amazing. The reflection in the eyes are enchanting. Like the soft green back ground for contrast.

Isn't he just too cute. Or rather beautiful. Something you have shown so well with this photo. He is for sure a real Bambi.
Your photo is pin sharp showing lovely details in the fawn, and the lovely almond shaped eye is so clear and bright. The background is nicely blurred and because of the depth this photo almost has a 3D effect to it. The exposure is spot on and the colors are nice and natural.
I also like very much the placement of the fawn within the frame and the tight cropping. The format is perfect for this photo and I like that you left so much negative space. The pose of the animal is just fantastic. This is really a lovely photo and the image is indeed nicely balanced and with excellent DOFF.

Wow, how fortunate to be this close and capture what a beautiful little fawn. Your focus, color and composition are outstanding. The details you have captured are amazing. He is also nicely presented with the green background contrasting nicely with his browns. Excellent! Thanks for sharing.

Nice job, Willie! You have beautiful light on this fawn, rich enough to enhance his fur coat's color but soft enough so that I feel invited to pet him.. the image isn't screaming at me which is a possible side effect of shooting in sun, haha. The focus is absolutely stunning, with the eye in perfect sharpness, and the sharpness extending all the way from the nose to the farther ear. Your DoF still renders the background out of focus, so I'm thinking you used a pretty ideal depth of field! Guess f/9.5's a winner for a fawn head! Classic composition with the fawn looking into the open half of the frame. Very well done, thank you for sharing!

This is the one I voted for in the wildlife contest.
It's such a pretty picture of this lovely animal.
The clarity and exposure are excellent here.
The colors seem natural and are rich.
the amount of animal you showed is good.
The backround adds another color and more texture.
good cropping.
well done.
