I really like the palette of varied graduated colors found in this digital expressive art rendering. Such rich, lovely texture that anchors the eye into this vision as well as fluid artistic movement of your dancer's passion flowing across the canvass. Beautiful portrayal of light and form.

I have the Art Rage too but have used it on my photos since i cannot draw a line to save my life unaided.

I love the form here, and the way it is representing so simply. Reminds me of the 60 second figure drawing exercises that sometimes created the most beautiful shapes because movement was what we went for. The dress flows and adds to the movement...the palette is superb (I'm a green fan).

Do you have a touch/pen tablet? That's what I wanted but it wouldn't work right with my setup.

anyway, love it.

Thank you for your throuought and encouraging review. I have to admit, I have never used ArtRage on photos. I have only used the paint tools who are somehow similar to traditional tools. Sometimes I transfer my drawing and paintings into other programs were I use them in mixed media. For photos I use usually Photo Explosion or Digital Image Suite. I do not have either a touch pen or a tablet [I wished I had]. I am living in southern Mexico {Yucatan Peninsula] were these advises are not available. I am using the touch pad of my laptop. I am usually blowing my paintings up and work in section as I would paint a mural on a wall.

So you understand my poor fingers on the laptop! I LOVED using ArtRage on photos and had forgotten that I had it until I saw this lovely photo. My other favorite program is PhotoPlus but the newest version crashes. I used to like Corel (also crashes) for the same reason I like ArtRage: I want to mix my own colors!!!

And again, I love this. I doubt many people do this kind of work without a tablet. The first one I bought was both touch & pen...and it was very awkward. Still, I liked the idea that I could have continued to 'fingerpaint'. So I replaced it with a pen only.

I wish I could figure out a way to send you one...they have multiple tips for different effects but you'd still use it with a program to get the REAL effects (if you know what I mean).

There must be something wrong with Corel it did the same to me. I think the RAM of a laptop is may not big enough for it and make it crash.
Yes that is exact it, mixing my own colors and paint free with the tools of my choice what I want to paint. All those big programs are to restrictive for me. I do not like programs who try to tell me what I should do or what colors to use!
I heard of the pens and know what you mean with REAL. There is no way to send anything down here. It will get lost or broken even send with FedEx plus there will be higher Import taxes on than the original prize. We have to bring everything down; but are bound by the restrictions of the airlines.

Beautiful and very classic. The digital image does in fact resemble an oil painting. I love the circular tutu and the softness and grace of her form. Well done my friend. Cyn

Thank you for your review and input. This is not a photo, but a painting in a abstract-impressionist style. The leek of detail is intentional. The theme of the painting is motion.
