How great is this? I love the action you caught. The movement of the wings against the reflection in the water is so interesting. Love the fish in his mouth. Really great capture. Well done.

Well I'm sure that this guy is glad that he was able to get this fish. I bet he is better at fishing then I'll ever be! But you really got a nice shot of him before he completely took off with his catch.

Here is that same fierce expression that I saw on the two previous heron pictures. You certainly take some nice pictures of these birds. Yet another one.
These are such beautiful birds. I can see why you spend a lot of time photographing them. Lot nicer than the vultures we have cruising over our place all the time...LOL
What I especially like about this photo is the green reflection of the water in contrast to the bird. Of course the fish in its mouth and the pose of the bird are simply tremendous. The relfection in the water. The sharpness of well, everything. And those big feet trying to take off...what action.
Just not a lot to say...I apologize. Quite the photo. Look forward to seeing more.

Seen a few bird shots today and this is the best. Full of action and technically good. A fan of nature I know how difficult it is to be in the right place and right time along with the hours needed. Well done
