Salutations and thank you for your time and then leaving me your comments on this ACEO (Art Card Edition & Original) reproduction of my pencil artwork, all of your time in doing so is appreciated.

And now to shamelessly self promote. My Art Card is a great way to starts your own AECO collection or add it to one you have already started, your support of me and my artwork would be greatly valued, treasured and definitely appreciated.
    Cheers!!

Great drawing. I clicked on the thumbnail to see the notes regarding this intense stare. Your notes confirm what I already saw when I looked at the thumbnail. Super work on the subtle lines in the eye. Super work

I love the minimalist approach!
The imagination can fill in so many blanks and I think minimalism makes viewing art more enjoyable. You go way beyond looking at pretty pictures... Nice job!

This is so majorly intense! Love the detail and fierceness depicted in the cat's eye. So simple, yet so hypnotic! Thank you for teaching me something today. I did not know what ACEO meant and now I know they are like trading cards for art! How cool!

I love the simplistic approach to this, very nicely done. Good contrast and creation of form with limited use of the medium. Great composition of form as well.
I like the ACEO cards in that they are decorative and an inexpensive way for people to own original art, but I would like to see more of this work on a larger scale. On that note I would like to suggest too that you find a way of doing drawings like this on a larger scale and in such a way that you can sell them for reasonable prices. I say this not as a knock at your pricing structure or at how you price your work but from my own experience. I'm a pretty good painter, but man I have outsold all my contemporaries at every art show that I have attended in the last four years and it's not because I'm better than them. It's because I'm faster. I have a formula; I do a couple big paintings, things that I am really proud of. And they get the bigger, more 'artsy' price tags. Then I will do several that are in the 16" x 20" range and aside from a couple that I really spend time on I hammer those out in a couple hours apiece. Then I will do a few small charcoal drawings and impressionistic paintings... things that take me about an hour apiece.
Because I spend so little time and materials on the mid and lower range of my work I can sell them off for $15 - $50 and still make a healthy profit on my time and supplies. And because my work (like yours) is priced so well people really buys these up. No, it's not the $500 or $1,000 that other people sometimes get for their work... but I sell several pieces at every show. Sold over 50 pieces last year alone.
You have the right business sense in how you conduct yourself as an artist, and that is something that few people know to do. You are realistic and you promote your work and you do so very well. My suggestion then is to increase the value of your pieces; make a better deal for your clients by increasing the size (with little increase to the price) and you will find yourself collecting a little more for what should be not that much more work.

The Piece is available as a lithographic print 16 x 20, on quality art paper for $ 50.00 and the postage and handling in the USA is $10.00 overseas it would be $20.00.

The eye in this is fantastic. The detail is amazing. I like the way you have just done the eye like this and then the way it goes down to the nose. A very impressive work of art.
