nice interesting image
nice bright colours in the house, looks very cartoon effect, i like it.

am going to give you 5 for this annie,i am not clever enough to do this sort of work.
years ago there was a school of thought that painting was one medium and photography was a completly different medium,and never the two should meet,if ever a photo crosses over,this would be it,some people would say tradional photography should be the only medium and doing this sort of stuff is not photography anymore,but do feel that there is room for both,just wish i was clever enough to do this...brian

That is really different. The vase background surely make it paint like and your editions are so smooth and careful that it works just like a painting. Its beautiful in color, excellently framed and shows your perfection using your paint tools.

Enjoyed reading the story and it's a good realization.
I like her silhouette against all the color of the rest of the picture. Right away, we see her as subject, and then find details to support the chilly feeling she creates..like the way the clouds hover above the house, the darker sky above, the silhouettes of birds.
It feels a little scary. Even the red of the roof is a bit disturbing.
Many nice details to study..the foreground grasses, the water (nice flood filter), the semi-circular shape the lines of her skirt and the grasses create, how that shape is echoed in the wheel, the textures of foliage behind the house.
Nice use of color.
Good balance in the composition.
Interesting ideas.

I loved your story Annie. I don't believe I have ever seen you do any work of this nature. I think you have created the image very well. It is quite striking and I think an excellent choice in making the woman and the grass silhouettes. It allows for more mystery as well as drawing the viewer's eye into the painting. Bren
