Another delightful image Cleo. The poem fits the image so well. They both go hand and hand.

The fairy has a wonderful look as she is surrounded by flowers and butterflies.

She would make a wonderful character in a children's book that would teach a valuable life lesson.

Great work Cleo ~ Steve

Thank you very much Steve, for your encouraging review. I will think about your suggestion. Maybe I could create a children book if I get my paint programs working again. :o)

What I like the best about this digital painting is how well you have managed to bring out the smile in the fairy's face, and also the way you have used the light. I also like the color pallet and the addition of Flowers and butterflies.

It is an excellent flow in Your brush work, and it is easy to see that this was done paying very good attention to details, and the use of high lights is very good.

The format and tight framing is Perfect, and I like the way you have placed the fairy on the canvas. A truly lovely and well done digital painting Cleo.

I love the colors in this piece. Your use of light and shadows give this life as well as depth. Looking at this piece I feel movement as if the whole scene is dancing in the sunshine. Very nice work.

Wow, Cleo, you certainly created quite a fantastic faerie here. Fits the poem perfectly especially with that beaming smile on her face not that the garden of restored. Fabulously colorful and bold. Great job and thanks for posting it again.

Lovely illustrate for this marvelous child's poem. She indeed looks happy to have rectified her original unkind intentions. The colors are lovely. There is a certain transparency which enhances the fairy quality. I think I would add another flower or two on the left side, for it feels a bit heavy on that side, due to the uninterrupted green sleeve.
Very nice.

good morning my dear and I have to say that you have depicted this poem so well with this lovely creation. Once again all I can comment on is the lovely tones you have used. Not sure how you have done it because I can somehow see both her ugly and caring / sharing sides. Just a majestic piece of work all around. From hervface to the fireflies, butterflies and flowers. A true wonder and joy to just sit and look at. Thanks for helping make my AM a bit happier. Hopw you have an awsome day and the sea settles out soon. C

We indeed have an awesome day, ha, ha, heavy rain and thunderstorm all day long. We need the rain, but we got the amount of the whole month or so today. LOL

I can't give you a six, but I WOULD!! Love the colors, very vibrant and showy, and the sense of magic is great! I liked that you used someones poem, a nice exchange, as they use our artwork, and your painting exemplifies it so well. I like how she seems made of natural things growing..like her eyebrows! Thank you! Your review surely feels like six stars to me.
The poem seems to lend itself to the picture. I really like the story of a imperfect fairy who makes mistakes and has to learn just as the children. I would wish exchanges like this bethween FanStory and FanArt would take place more often to the adventage of both. Wile FanStory members use or art regularly; the other way around is seldom. Its in the nature of the beast, so to speak. Our art is easy available for FanStory members, Just put a search word [Fairy for example] in the box when posting poetry and chose from what chose up. We on the other hand cannot search for poetry by keywords; even as premier members on Fan Story. I found that poem by accident, because the author had used another of my picture for her work.
You are right. She is made from natural things growing. It is said that flower, garden and forest fairies even fashion all their outfits from plants.
