Another amazing macro. Cropped beautifully to centre the focal point. The lighting and contrast really makes studying the dragon fly enjoyable. Thanks for sharing. I have much to learn from you.

I love the see-through wings, and their black webbing. He's pretty all over, fitting in and looking comfortable. Good depth and detail in this shot. Very nice capture.

He has such interesting patterns on his body, and it's great to have such a good view of his net-like wings.
Like the angle you've taken from, and the lines the leaf and (dragon fly?) make into the frame.
Nice work with focus and light.
Definitely nice greens..the lighter/brighter shade from our subject, and the darker but still bright greens from the leaves.
Like the detail of dew on the leaves.
nice composition with horizontal wings balancing the more vertical look of the rest of the picture.

Good initial impact and focal point. The angle of the shot is good, as well as, the green mixed background. Well detailed image of the dragonfly and good focus.

How can he fly with transparent wings? There is amazing detail in this picture, I can imagine reaching out and touching but not hurting this creature. Good DOF. Good luck in the contest and thanks for sharing, Cyn

Thank you so very much! His wings are like a very thin piece of plastic. They are very timid and are hard to get close to. Very unlikely you could walk up on him much less touch.

Wow! That's probably not much of a review, but that was my first impression. The detail here is exquisite. The colors of the insect pop right off the screen. This is a great photo. Very nice work!
