Thank goodness for the slow nights, we as reviewers benefit from the down time.
Good impact image, I think this would look excellent on a greeting card or perhaps a tattoo.

A lovely, dramatic but romantic picture, so quiet and calm but so pretty and simple. I love the depiction of simple tenderness between the lovers--nothing too unsightly--just gazing at each other, silhouetted against a fiery sky--to symbolize passion(?). It doesn't have to be an X-rated show to depict true love, is my opinion, and that's just what's here.
Problem is, though, her head seems to be a bit too big in proportion to the rest of her body. Well, that's circumstances; after all, this is markers you're dealing with, not pencils. Otherwise--it's splendid. All the best! :) Proxima

Great work MK and thanks for the information regarding the sharpies. I really like this although the position of the girls' legs make her look rather squat! Thanks for sharing! R

Lovely colors. So vibrant. Really makes the silhouette of the two lovers pop (ironic to say pop when the subject is in black, but it pops). Nice job!

A romantic side added to that impish and sometimes gentle cynical side of you, huh? Sometimes the simplest works are the most effective. I don't mean simple as far as technique as there is a lot going on here to make this piece work. I meant simple meaning at a glance and you get it. The viewer is not forced to work too hard. You have accomplished this here. A quick glance and one feels good about romance and caring and special moments remembered. Well done, Maestro! JAKE

This is a very effective painting with the figures silhouetted against the setting sun and crimson sky. I like the patterns created in the sky and water. Good luck in the competition!
