Very beautiful colors and action in the waves and water. I love the rock you an see and that you tell about it. Looks like a great place to sit on the beach.

Love the refreshing sight of the waves and the bold ocean blue color. The texture and shapes is also very prominent. The shore looks peaceful in contrast with the strong waves. Love this image. I can hear the splashing! Well-framed.

Very realistic
Love the white cresting
of the waves.
You've used different colors on the waves, more of a
greenish/turquoise and it stands out beautifully again the deep blue sea.
Excellent job.

I do like it - very much indeed! There's something so soothing about the to-ing and fro-ing of waves - especially over a little cluster of rocks as we have here. I get a great sense of movement and can almost smell the salty air!

I feel the need to review this painting after reading Trish's review and then going back to find Anju's. This is a nicely executed painting, Suzanne, with beautiful cool colours. Water scenes are always a pleasure to view when done well. Good job on the spray which really stands out. The rock in the foreground and the receding water line give the painting good balance. Anju also reviewed my latest drawing, noting that it was well done but she didn't like my cropping and deducting stars as a result. I also was confused as it was submitted as an artwork, not a photo. So don't take that type of review on board. Your work is of good quality, as you can tell by reading all of the observations from your other reviewers. Taylor

Thank you very much, Taylor, for taking time to review and for your supportive comments. I think the problem is that some photographers can only view an image as if it were a photograph. I must have been feeling a little fragile today so to be told at my age that I should try harder, etc, was a bit hard to swallow! I know we can't please everyone! Many thanks, again, for your lovely comments. Suzanne

Wonderful job! I really love this. There is movement in this image, and mystery, like what is that on the beach? I just love the colors they pop! The green and azure blue, what a lovely image. It has mood, I feel the wind on my face and can smell the ocean.

I like the way you have used the impasto for the waves. I am sure this makes a better viewing experience in person. The colours are natural and delightful. The painting is well balances in terms of light and space. Good effort!

It's a great piece of art.
The waves look so real!
Water, is, I must admit a favourite subject of mine - I may not take many photos of it but I can spend hours just watching it.
