This has beautiful color. Good texture as well. I'm not liking the framing so much though. Seems to be way to much stem, and not quite enough space on the left.

My coworker lost her brother last month. He had a seizure during the night. 42 years old. I feel for you, as I know what a hard time she is having.

Yes, it is really hard. I think, "sudden death" is very tough, as it happened without a warning. My brother was celebrating his birthday and was found dead in his bed the next day. Thanks, Jayne. Your words means a lot.

The story about your brother is touching. This rose photo is beautiful. I like the fact that its dark in the background... so the main focus is on the rose. I love the colors in the rose and I bet when it bloomed it was gorgeous! The bright green stem is perfect ..nothing blurry. Your brother would be proud...its a great photo!:)

You made me CRY! I love the way, you've phrase your personal thoughts.... "life can be snatched up in an instant." I'm so speechless, seeing that 6-star rating, from a Well-Seasoned Photographer, like YOU! I always wanted to be a Missionary, as a teenager, but choose to be in the Acctg. field, out of practical reason: it's easy to get a job! At 22, I passed my CPA and was a young IRS Officer! I also pursued a degree in accounting but instead of going the CPA route my husband and I bought a business, the accounting definately paid off in the long run, however my passion is photography and art. Not so strange of a combination.
