Lovely portrait. Love the way, you've painted the face, with its well-defined features, especially the eyes. The texture of the soft hair is beautiful and clear. Superb focus and great framing. She is so blessed to have you. I guess, she can't wait for holidays, for you to build memories with her again.

Happiness radiates from this little face especially from those lovely blue eyes ! She is full of " joie de vie" as she laughs at whatever she is looking at. Your rendering of her hair is especially superb with beautiful softness and fine detail. A lovely little girl that you have shared with us who now lives far away from her beloved Grandmother, I'm sure you miss her heaps and i bet she misses you too! Is she the one who lives in Australia?
Anyway Suzanne ,I'm sure that by drawing her as you have she will be held in your heart and kept close while you are apart. Lovely pastel portrait, well done.

Thank you so much for your lovely review. No, she lives down south but I only can get to see her in the school holidays. My second grandchild, Finn, lives in Australia and my youngest, Barney, lives near me so I get to see a lot more of him. Suzanne

The beauty and the sense of joy can be seen regardless of the upload. She looks like a delightful young lady that is very happy and full of energy. Her eyes are full of life and curiosity. Blonds do have more fun and she looks like is having a great time.

Your grand daughter is adorable. This drawing of her face radiates pure pleasure. Her eyes are gorgeous and full of life. She looks as though something amusing has caught her attention. The soft chalk pastel colors are very pretty but a little on the too light side. Probably the upload as you mentioned in your artist notes. She is precious. I have a grand daughter that I take care of now, I can only imagine how much you must miss her. Thanks for sharing. :)
