A wonderful photograph to depict the first moments of life on this earth. The start of a long journey and many more beautiful photographs. Tremendous editing in the shot with a nice color tone and a softness surrounding the baby.

I love the concept using flowers and frame to surround your gorgeous grandson. (Congrats!)
There is something about the blue tone which does not sit well with me personally. I think natural skin tones on the baby would possibly look more realistic, maybe use the blue tone on the frame surrounding the baby to emphasise that the baby is a boy, and use the natural tones for the baby.(Reverse the colours the other way around).
All my subjective opinion of course :-) Cheers, Kim

Oh dear all the flowers in this pic couldn't make this child look comfortable - what i do like is the tones and the subject but i would have kept shooting till i got a better disposition of my subject .

A very artistic presentation. Excellent angle, showing the belly button of a new born. A very healthy baby. Love those blooms in the background. I guess, the only disadvantage of Mixed Media Photos, was that they surely losses their natural element, right away. Anyway, this is still a perfect entry for the contest and maybe a potential winner.

When you see a photo like that, you start to belive in human being.
