Love all the texture in the stone and window irons. Nice story to tell about the placement of the chair. Beautiful lighting and focus. Subject well positioned and balanced. Nicely framed and pleasing image.

Love the sight. It looks very solid and safe, with those stoned walls and grilled window.
Excellent angle, showing the quaint architectural design. The chair looks so cute and just for little ones. Prominent textures and natural colors. Great focus and technical skills. Well captured and is very informative.

A very pleasing image! I love the architecture of old churches. They have so much more character than most modern constructions. You've done an excellent job capturing that character. Your image is composed beautifully while capturing great detail in the stonework, in the window, and of the chair. Your post-processing work is skillfully applied. Bravo:)

Your profile picture makes me think you are a rich professional photographer of sorts. Looks great and you like things that are dried up, or alone it seems!! (Laughing!!) great walls, details, lighting, and shadow overcast. Thanks for sharing this.

    Thank you so very much for the lovely review. I can assure I am neither professional or rich. LOL I do however like dry plants and lone chairs.

What could be more poignant than an empty chair? I love the narrow archways and the excellent color and texture of the stonework.

a wonderful capture; I like the simplicity of this pic with the chair against the old Church wall and the angle allowing a view of the street through the narrow passage; excellent lighting and focus;

You know how much I like angles and geometric aspects in photography. This one is a cavalcade of both and absolutely suburb. The angle of the shot is perfect, placing the angle in the wall just off center. The right wall is a great lead in to the open arch and the pleasant peak of what lies beyond. Lighting is top notch with a pleasant array of highlights and shadows throughout. DOF is excellent. Detail perfect. The lone chair is of course perfect and perfectly placed in the scene. Totally wonderful, Annie.

impact 5 color 5 lighting 5
technical 5 sharp focus
technique 5 like the depth of field, composition and contrasts. Love the detail in the stone/brick work and the little chair really makes this picture and gives one an idea of the size of this structure. Great photo. Deserves higher rating

I am happy to see again some photographs from you as your view is fantastic and I was missing them

Great capture of a special situation having one lonely testimony that there is still life going on in these historic walls -

your angle and position are fantastic , showing all the corners and the architecture in style and composition

Your adjustments with HDR and others brought the essence of this image out - perfect in focus, contrast and lighting , a really special image, well seen and super well presented
