I notice, though, that the photograph is cut exactly in half... with the foreground so interesting, you might have wanted to include more of that area.
I really like that you use complementary colors --- blue and yellow.

Thank you so very much for the lovely review. I can assure you that more of the foreground would not have improved this photo. It was just a road. No rule without exception. I think it works well.

What a great image. The hues in this image is magnificent. The grey blue tones are most captivating. Then the gold and vibrant blue in the center... Simply stunning. Your angle is most intriguing, as the horizon provides a mirrored image of the roof line of the building in a mountain. I like the way the reflective light on the wall has been centered in the frame. Annie - a wonderful image. Very nice. Kathy

There are some interesting compositional and lighting aspects to this one that makes it work for me. I like how the roof of he building is so well integrated into the background hills on the right. I also like how the lighting and colors of the cabana area are very similar to the post sunset sky. Along with the great DOF and other elements of spatial harmony the those two things really make this come together so beautifully. Well done.

what a great capture of a lovely place, I like the different layers with the pool area, sea, and then mountains in the background, and also great sunset, lovely use of colour and light, very well framed for maximum impact, a pleasure to view, wish I were there, well done, thanks for sharing.
