I think I would have cut some of the water (?) off of the top of this photograph... must all of the (sharp!) focus is on the lower part.

I do like that you said it was a windy day... that made me look more closely at the heron feathers... yes, indeed -- that is great detail.

What's with the chicken wire? (That can't be good for aquatic birds.)

Beautiful capture! Love that ripple in the b/g. Beautiful clarity, lighting and detail. Really nice to see two different birds together. It looks like some kind of wire in the water that can be dangerous for the birds. A very wonderful photo!

Stunning capture, seems the wind brings company to stand it - a really outstanding shot as both are so neat together unusual to see

beautiful presentation, well framed , fantastic content even a great item for environmental questions as what we see they use to sit on is not very natural and rather a danger for their fragile legs
