I like very much the simplicity of this digital painting and also the soft and delicate blue tones. The rocks sticking out of the roaring waves is a nice contrast, and the gulls are adding interest. I do however think the gulls should have been placed off to the left as a balanced to the rocks on the right.
Other than this small issue, I think the image is nicely framed, and it has a good depth. This is lovely and well done, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Annie, thank you so much, and Happy New Year! Thank you for the tip... I don't have time to change it now, but will keep it in mind for later. I have such a large wave on that side, I wasn't sure it needed anything else there. Again, thank you! :)

i dont much about digital painting, but i know what i like and i dig this one
maybe not quite blue enough but very good artwork
youve used black rocks but i maybe wouldve considered reddish rocks to stand out more
but then again its about blue isnt it haha

seriously breathtaking painting.The different shades of blue in the painting are a beautiful.Great rock formation
that gives the painting depth.As I see this it is a winter storm bringing powerful waves to the shoreline.Best of Luck for a win~

This is amazingly beautiful. The way you have captured the power of the ocean is remarkable. Just the addition of the rocks sets this portrait off to perfection. The seagulls really make the whole feeling of this picture come to life in the hearts of the viewers.
