Oh, Raoul... this piece so touched my art... first just from the sweet visual impact, followed by the beautiful poem to accompany your drawing. The content is compelling and we'll executed. The color tones help to set the emotion of a nostalgic relationship with the kid goat. I simply love this.

How very adorable! That you wrote the poem makes this even more enjoyable. The little boy nicely done, he has what looks like little furry boots and the type of hat my brothers wore in the winters back in the 1950's. The little goats are so playful at the petting farm I just took my grandson to a few weeks ago and this reminded me of their constant vying for our attention ! poignant work and impressive poetry! jean

This is a beautiful drawing of the little boy and his pet kid, reminding you of your childhood. I think you've captured the feeling of love and friendship between the kid and the boy very well in this depiction. I like how you've drawn the wood and shown the different textures of skin, clothing and fur.

I love your poem accompanying this. You are very talented. Excellent work. Suzanne

Love this. Great entry for the contest - good luck! You can really feel the bond between the two of them; and your poem tells it all! Beautiful technique. The muted color scheme plays well into the story line. Reminds me of the Hebrew song from the Passover story " Chad Gadya, Chad Gadya, - One Little Kid." They are two, but they are one.

Brilliant Raoul. I love this piece and the poem compliments it beautifully. I think you are progressing and improving at a rapid rate as a credible artist. Not being a graphite artist myself I find it amazing what you have achieved here. Well done.
