Yes , my artwork because of the techniques I use takes a lot of time. The technique slows me way down and forces me to really looks at the subject and see what is there, the textures and the way the light is absorbed and reflected. I'm glad you like the results of my efforts in trying to become an artist.

This is fabulous. Love the position and the colors are wonderful. Love the texture to this and the tones as well. The design and composition are really unique. Love the simple background as well, really brings out the detail.

You must have the patience of job. As always your work is wonderful. My only critique is the body of the smaller one does not seem proportioned correctly. That may be due to the way he is stretching. However, excellent work once again.

Your very welcome Lucian you really deserve it. Are your drawings mostly from a photo? Is it hard to find quality photos of your desired subjects?

I have a lot f fpeople that over the years haev given me photo's or permissionv to use thiers as the insperation for my drawings. and then of course I take photos as well and I always have a sketch pad with me to help me remember as well. and the biggest thig is I study many photos until I feel I have a sense of the subject I want to draw.
and as I have said before practice and then some more practice.

You know I am always amazed by these drawings. Especially the Poitillism drawings. The time it must take to create these so detailed and precise images has to be tremendous. I have a friend that did a pen and ink drawing of a scene and I know the dedication it takes to recreate one subject .

yes they do take a lot of time, it is a slow process, that really forces you to look at the subject, very time consuming, but the detail that can be obtained I think is worth all the effort.

Wow, have you got patience!! I could never do stipling, I have and it drove me crazy!! You have done an exceptional job at it. The pandas are both nicely illustrated and in perfect proportion. It is also an interesting compositon. Great rendering, great piece!! Levon7
