Whoah, what chaos, and it is a fantastic 4.8 from me (my critical textual score). It certainly captures a message and I don't even mind the half child in the picture - it suits the chaos. I would need a lot more clutter to capture that - and this does so well with so little. Are the stereotype images, of the man's (husband's) headache and woman (wife) looking to hold things together, justified(?) Or is that a stereotype, could it not be the other way around (?) - it is a bonus if it provokes questions. The pronounced story-book-like colourfulness and partially symbolic depiction-style of characters and scene, with a possible contrast of orderliness outside (through the window) depicts what was intended so well here - so well done.

Cats are a mess! Great job on showing everyone's emotions and and how stressful daily life can be.
You look like you've used markers for a long time because the colouring is really smooth so great job there.
But be careful on the colours you are using. People aren't generally orange. Try mixing your marker colours. It'll take away from the spray tan glow they all have and the simpson orange hair that's going on. You gave the woman such detailed hair in comparison to everyone else so don't forget to spread the love.

Lolol.. Let's see I have masterful working with sharpie and bic for 4 decades and oh BTW there r 4/colors mixed in the skin. U need any tips in mixing and blending colors with sharpie and bic holler at me..I'll be glad to give u my expert advise..wink..u must be a.copic user.. Lol..that's OK they teach sharpie and bic and took me decades to get this office medium to be accepted in the artist world. So I really find ur commentamusing due to lack of knowledge of this medium and only offering an opinion..wink. Thanks for ur review any way and have a great day(thumbs up)

Funny, I remember being told that anything can be used as a medium. Copic markers look unappealing, if you must know. I use Faber-Castel markers but mostly chose to paint or use henna as my medium of choice. I tried out sharpie markers and the smell was too overbearing to keep using them. Prismacolour were trash the couple of times I used them, but since they're so popular I think I just have bad luck.
I don't also don't like sharpies because they don't blend very well and leave those lines in the background that are rather unpleasant but just come with it. You seem to have your blending tricks down though so good luck spreading that detail love that you gave to the woman's hair and no one else.

Thank u and over the years of experiment and over the years I solved my blending issues and used the overlapping lines to my advantage for texture for like the floorboard that u see. Personal all mediums r too messy and expensive because it comes with the word art..over the decades I taught myself other Lil tricks with this medium. Millions of artist and wannabes in this world today..the real trick is to stand out uniquely to be notice..oh yeah..promote promote promote... Wink

Very funny. Love the crazy kids, and the overwhelmed Dad, while Mom, seems to start nagging. Well thought elements, with the inclusion of the clock. Distinctive colors, and excellent drawing techniques. Well-deserve to be six ! An image with a story to tell.

You really know how to put emotion into your work.
Lots to look at, I can certainly see the story and it is one that plays out in many households every day.

Welcome Home! You have captured a real story line here with the vivid expressions and arm movements. The mom has had it and so have the kids. Dad is thinking he had a hard day but... Your creative soul hits a home run again.
