This is indeed a great entry for this contest, and I especially like how the power lines are leading us right up to all the lights in Tucson. It is just an incredible perspective in this shot. I especially like how well you captured the fine light and colors in the city, and how well they are standing out.
Your photo is really sharp all the way through, and even if this is a night shot it is such clear and well defined details to be seen all over. The exposure is just great.
The cropping has indeed worked well and like that the poles with the power lines are placed off to the right. It is a really good balance in the composition, and it is also a well taken photo with an excellent DOF. I wish you luck with the contest.

Really like this simple picture with the lines coming out of the upper right and going down to the poles in front. It really captures the poles and the lines. Just wish it was a little lighter to see the lines furthe down. Thanks for sharing!

Interesting. Been there a couple of times. Good scene. Thought it was Vegas w/o reading the caption LOL. Good lighting. Good use of depth. I would have added something like a bird to the poles but Thank you for sharing.

A vey nice shot. I like the angle of perspective and the great use of depth of field. The lights all the way back draw the eye along the wires to the horizon. Great contest entry photo.

A very nice shot of a subject I try to avoid in most cases. The poles and lines are perfectly located and seem to be leading right into the lit road and city. Beautiful colors and great composition. Best of luck in the contest.

This is nice,,a lovey view of the city with night time showing what these power lines means to the city. Love that it looks down towards the valley. Nice and straight, nice horizon in the background. Lovely colours, really like this
