This is a really good still life. I love the composition. The broom is centered and leading you away to the upper right of the picture. Wonderful lighting. Great focus and details. The different textures combine with the lighting to create the mood of this artwork. Very well done.

That topaz filter you use? I like what it does to a photo very much.

You've framed your broom perfectly....spot on focus....broom bristles perfectly detailed and photo cropped just right.

I have to admit, I would have never thought about taking a photo of a broom. This photo completely opened my eyes. This is a very subtle picture of a tool used to clean but it's truly an amazing shot. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Dave. I may try B/W just to see how it looks. Topaz has a B/W filter with a lot of presets. :)
