I really like what you have done here, especially with the candle in the glass. I also like the way that the bottles color comes through the bottom of the glass, it seems like the glass has a few different functions here. I really like the way that this is presented. Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing. JackJr.

Very nice set up for the snap! Your lighting has worked to perfection. The background with it's charred quality is grandly supportive and adds a special creative touch to the composition. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!

U know that ur suppose to put the wine in the glass..oh that's right ur just killing the bottle. The candle in the glass is an after thought right? Evil grin..lol. The clarity is great. The capture of the light is great. The angle of the shot of the wine and glass( don't see thou) is great. The image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. great eye and great job overall

Hi, did you get my email with photos of framing? I did send them, but didn't hear back from you? I can re-send, let me know OK.

I find that black hue at the very right very distracting and does not give congruity to the photograph.

I do like the still life set up with muted earth tones.

The image itself is sharp , well contrasted and the technical is well rendered as is the artistic element of this image.

Thank you. I agree about the right side. The right side of the photo was a problem I will tell you about at a later time. I got the original Email. Did you just send the second email? I will check. Thanks again Mary Eileen

Thank you. I am just doing some experimenting with still life and filters. Just a learning experience for me.

well you're doing a good job learning then...this is really nice.

Thank you. There is definitely a learning curve using filters. You must always remember that less is more :)

I've never used them...but it works here in this photo of yours for sure.

I think I like this one even better tjhan the previous scene. The bottle on it's side and the candle in the wine glass tell a different story. I really like the background effect. It gives an "old world" feel for the scene. Definitely a great photo - Steve

Thanks Steve. I am doing some experimental still life's and using what I have at hand for composition and post processing. It helps me in future pieces. I can't wait till spring to get outside.

A very nice shot. I like the composition and the reflections in the glass from the candle. A great subtle tonal palette and sharp details.

LOL.. Don't let that last little bit of wine go to waste! LOL

Seriously, this is a very creative way to present this still life, and the background of varied browns work well with the composition.

Awesome work!
